But this just one discussion was one they were not seeing eye to eye on. And of course her mother argued back. Giving what she thought were sound reasons, but Clara wasn’t listening because she thought they weren’t.
Two seconds. That’s how long Ellie Oswald took her eyes off the road. And that’s all it took for the accident to happen. A rush of things happening at once, Clara grabbing onto the ceiling but still being tossed around. She ended up hitting her head on the window beside her, making the world fade to black. Making everything that she knew, dark, and empty.
Ambulance came, took her mum away, announce dead at arrival, and Clara’s pulse weak, growing weaker. She was rushed to the hospital and admitted, not having woken up at all during the entire trip or when they put her in one of those horrid hospital gowns. She was in a deep sleep. shallow breaths being taken, her chest rising and falling softly.
