He squeezed her tightly and let go with a laugh.
”Oh you know me. Loads of stories. I even met a talking lion ———- who might be my new best friend.” he teased.

‘A best friend who’s a talking lion you say?’ With all of the places that he’d taken her in the short amount of time that she knew him, it must’ve been possible that he’d have a friend who’s a talking lion. In retrospect it wasn't that far off when she met an alien who barked to communicate.
’Hopefully that’s not it. Cause that’d be pretty tame to your standards.' It was a lame pun and she knew it. But if anyone would appreciate it, it’d be the Doctor. He’d make the same bad puns every so often.
