   {sometimes the doctor between companions could be alone for hundreds of years. and in that time, he’d think about everyone who’s traveled with him. everyone who’s stepped through the doors of his t.a.r.d.i.s. how he’s lost them. no matter all the good times he’s spent, he still had so much more weighing him down. he was so old now. just a madman with his blue box. the ship hummed differently than she did usually and he looked up, from the controls and smiled some. she always took care of him. companions came and went but the t.a.r.d.i.s was constant. and he appreciated that. and even if it never hurt less, it was easier to know that there was at least one thing constant in his lives} 

        ‘come on, old girl. lets see where we’ll go today.’
